Terrarium Workshops in Shrewsbury
Learn how to create your own terrarium at one of our relaxed and informal workshops.
A chance to get creative, spend time with others and make something you can enjoy at home.

What to expect
We’ll provide everything you need and guide you through the process step by step, from building the base layers to planting and finishing your terrarium.
​
You can choose to create an open terrarium, ideal for cacti and succulents, or a closed terrarium with plants that enjoy a more humid environment.
​
You’ll leave with a finished terrarium to take home, along with the knowledge to care for it.
​
Please note that workshops take place upstairs above our shop and are accessed via a staircase.

Who it's for
Our workshops are suitable for all ages and abilities, even if you don’t think you have green fingers.
They’re a great activity to enjoy on your own or with others, whether it’s a birthday, celebration or simply trying something new.

Private Workshops
We can also arrange private workshops for small groups, including birthdays, hen parties, work groups or family gatherings.
If you can’t make it to us, we may be able to bring a workshop to you.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for workshops and make a thoughtful and original gift.

What's included
All materials are provided, including a glass terrarium bottle (20cm tall), a selection of plants, compost and tools.
​
We’ll also show you how to care for your terrarium so you can enjoy it for years to come.
​
