SILVER JEWELLERY MAKING WORKSHOPS
New silver jewellery making taster workshops hosted by Mel from Silverlicious Artisan Jewellery.
These workshops are designed to give a good introduction to basic silversmithing techniques and offer options for making a variety of items using sterling silver. Ideal for beginners or those wanting to expand their knowledge and improve their skills, they make a great gift or come along and enjoy the creative experience yourself!

Workshops take place in small groups to ensure you get personalised, dedicated tuition and guidance throughout the process. You will learn techniques such as annealing, shaping, saw piercing, filing, soldering and polishing. All equipment and materials are provided, including sterling silver to make your finished piece, plus tea, coffee and biscuits/nibbles.

SILVER STACKING RINGS WORKSHOP

At this workshop, you will firstly make a practice ring in copper before moving on to producing one or two rings in silver (time allowing), with the opportunity to add textures or decorative elements using a hammer or other techniques.

At this workshop, you will firstly make a practice bangle in copper before moving onto producing one in silver with the opportunity to add textures using a hammer or other techniques.
PERSONALISED SILVER CUFF BANGLE WORKSHOP

At this workshop, you will create an adjustable, chunky silver cuff bearing personalised text of your choice. To create your personalised message you will use steel letter punches with a hammer. Other stamps featuring stars, hearts and paw prints are also available, so you can let your creativity go wild! You will be able to practice your stamping techniques on copper before moving onto the silver, with the opportunity to add textures to your final piece using a hammer or other techniques.
