Get into the flow with Calligraphy for Beginners at this creative workshop run by Corinne from Inky Nib Calligraphy.

Learning modern calligraphy is a brilliant skill to master; not only is it a beautiful art form, but it’s a very mindful activity and encourages you to slow down and focus on the here and now.

​

During this two hour workshop, you will learn the basics of dip pen calligraphy.  We'll begin by setting up your pen and getting comfortable with making shapes with the nib before learning how to write in modern calligraphy style.  When you are happy forming letters and words, you will have the opportunity to complete a finished piece to take home with you.  Use your card to write your favourite quote, an affirmation or even your favourite song lyrics.

Your workshop cost includes your starter kit to use at the workshop and take home with you to continue practising at home.  All of the materials provided are the quality as Corrine uses on a day to day basis.  Drinks and biscuits will also be provided.

As you will be working with black ink, it's recommended that you wear dark colours to your workshop or bring an apron or old shirt to wear.
